Muslims have been urged to use the opportunity they have to perform Hajj Pilgrimage to enable them receive the reward from God.
Imam Jamiu Hanafi-Gere made the call in his sermon at the High Court of Justice, Juma’at Mosque in Ilorin, Kwara state.
He said it is very important for Muslims who have the capacity to perform Hajj once in their life time.
According to him, Hajj Pilgrimage as a pilar of Islam is only compulsory for a Muslim that God has blessed with wealth.
Imam Hanafi-Gere explained that the wealthy Muslims are also enjoined to assist those who have the intention to perform Hajj but have no capacity to pay.
The Muslims cleric advised Muslims to ensure they practice Islam as commanded by God in Qur’an and Hadith.
